Rubber Compression & Transfer Mold Manufacturing
We design and manufacture high-cycle rubber compression and transfer molds with micronic tolerances for automotive, defense, and heavy machinery industries in Konya OSB.
Technical Specs & Capacity
Success in rubber tooling depends on calculating exact compound shrinkage during vulcanization. Our engineering office performs precise mold flow simulations and FEA analysis based on your STEP or IGES files. Mold cavities are machined in high-speed vertical machining centers from premium hot-work tool steels (DIN 1.2344, AISI H13). We supply single-cavity prototype molds up to high-cavity mass production mold sets compatible with rubber presses ranging from 50 to 600 tons.
Manufacturing & Tooling Process
Engineering -> CNC Modeling -> Heat Treatment -> Mold Assembly and First Trial Press.
The process starts with analyzing the customer's 3D CAD models under strict confidentiality protocols. Based on the selected compound (EPDM, NBR, HNBR, Viton, Silicone), shrinkage rates are integrated into the tool geometry. Runner layouts and flash grooves are optimized through advanced CAD simulations. After CAM processing on high-speed CNC milling machines, tool cores undergo heat treatment for stress relieving and hardening. Precision grinding and micro-polishing ensure premium surface finishes before the final mold assembly and inspection.
Industrial Applications
Automotive sealing components, defense vibration dampers, heavy machinery bellows. Automotive (anti-vibration mounts, dust boots, silent blocks, oil seals), defense (armored vehicle track pads, tactical tactical seals), fluid power (hydraulic seals, O-rings, gaskets), and household appliances.
